ABOUT
Drill was opened in August 2011 after successful winning a Bid to take over the running of the centre from the local council. Two original clubs, Birkenhead Trampoline Club and Birkenhead Gymnastics Club, joined together to form what we now call Drill. We now have Wirral gymnastics club training with us in Drill.
The new name for the centre, formally Grange Road West sports centre, came from the heritage of the building in the fact that it used to be an Army drill hall

Sarah has been part of Drill since the very first documents for the Bid went in. Sarah is Head coach of Birkenhead trampoline club and has now stepped Into the role to run the centre.

Cathy has been part of Drill since the initial take over from the council, playing an essential part in securing Drill when the original bid was placed in 2009. Cathy has continued to support Drill since the take over with various jobs and coaching and is now one of our directors. Cathy was former Head coach of Birkenhead Trampoline Club.
